About the Role:

The City of Coquitlam is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Asset Management Planner to join our rapidly growing Facilities division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing City-owned facilities lifecycle plans and schedules, as well as budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop City-owned facilities lifecycle plans and schedules
  • Prepare and oversee budgets concerning the City's buildings and necessary equipment
  • Act as the Project Manager of an array of asset management, facility maintenance and capital projects
  • Work with a variety of internal and external contacts to ensure effective project delivery
  • Collaborate with staff and outside contractors to ensure work is completed effectively

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Building Systems Technology or a related field
  • At least 3 years of related experience in asset management of facilities
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered
  • Driver's License for the Province of British Columbia
