Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and direct the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure our facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of equipment.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
