Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nondestructive Testing (NDT) technician to join our team at IRISNDT Corp.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong background in NDT principles and techniques. As an NDT technician, you will be responsible for conducting liquid penetrant inspections, testing equipment, and interpreting results.

You will work closely with our team to establish NDI techniques and calibration standards, calibrate and test ultrasonic equipment, and set up and operate various NDT tools.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct liquid penetrant inspections to ensure quality and detect defects
  • Test and interpret ultrasonic equipment to identify material properties and defects
  • Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards for various NDT methods
  • Set up, calibrate, operate, and interpret magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and reports
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of NDT principles and techniques
  • Experience with liquid penetrant inspection, ultrasonic testing, and other NDT methods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
