  • Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Schedule your team and the on-call rotation as needed to meet the business needs, ensuring adequate coverage and responsiveness to customer requests.
  • Regularly review open orders with the assistance of the sales and office staff, at a minimum on a monthly basis, to ensure prompt completion and resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Approve absence requests and vacation planning, managing employee time-off effectively to minimize disruptions to the team and maintain productivity.
  • First Level Human Resource management (employee conflicts, hiring and disciplinary policy), providing guidance and support to employees while upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the service department is profitable and achieves financial targets as communicated from senior management, driving revenue growth and expansion.
  • Maintain certifications required for Harris and others, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Assist with warranty and RMA returns for products, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the process.
  • Ensure your team has the appropriate tools, software, and knowledge to complete the services asked of them, empowering them to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Some IT networking & electrical experience is an asset, but not essential for this role.
  • Steel toe safety boots and hard hat are mandatory for this position, ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees.
  • Own basic tools (screwdriver, wire cutters, drills, etc.) are required, allowing employees to perform their duties efficiently.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driver abstract is necessary, enabling employees to travel safely and responsibly.
  • Ability to work with small power tools and be mechanically inclined is beneficial, as this role requires hands-on skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in different weather conditions and at heights is essential, as this role involves outdoor work and potential exposure to challenging environmental factors.
  • Ability to distinguish colors is also crucial, as this role requires attention to detail and visual acuity.
  • Flexibility to work different schedules, overtime, and on-call is necessary, as this role requires adaptability and responsiveness to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, are vital for this role, ensuring clear and effective communication with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Awareness of occupational health and safety and quality of work is essential, as this role involves working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Must pass the security police check and be bondable, meeting the requirements for this position and demonstrating commitment to our organization.
  • Some out-of-town/overnight travel may be required, so flexibility and adaptability are necessary for this role.
