Truck Mechanic Specialist
About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Truck Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Metrobus. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, brake systems, and other critical components
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial transport truck systems
- Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components as needed
- 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck mechanics
- Other trades certificate or diploma (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brake systems, and other commercial transport truck systems
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (depending on experience)
