Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified individual with a strong background in heavy duty equipment repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will have a Red Seal certificate and at least one year of experience as a diesel mechanic. Experience using diagnostic software is an asset.
The Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing operational difficulties with heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment;
- Maintaining and repairing heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated equipment and vehicles;
- Completing reports, work orders, ordering parts, and performing other administrative duties as required daily;
- Planning and scheduling repairs in M5 planner and procuring all necessary parts;
- Assisting in the review of mechanical write-ups on equipment and coordinating repair schedules;
- Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with all safety regulations;
- Utilizing a variety of power and hand tools and equipment;
- Possessing, providing, and maintaining tools necessary to perform tasks related to maintenance on heavy/hydraulic equipment;
- Maintaining a clean work area;
- Conforming in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and other orders and company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors;
- Assisting in the training and orientation of new employees;
- Maintaining a working knowledge of and keeping up with the latest technology through the use of technical manuals and attendance at technical training seminars and testing.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Red Seal certificate;

- The ability to meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards.
