We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Planning and organizing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Setting staff work schedules to meet business needs
  • Determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures
  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conducting performance reviews to assess employee performance
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure efficient supply chain management
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Leading and instructing individuals to achieve business goals
  • Addressing customer complaints or concerns to provide exceptional customer service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and other relevant software
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Other Requirements

Please note that this position requires:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Able to support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Able to develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
