Role: Senior Python Developer with AWS Expertise

Location: Toronto, ON - Canada

Duration: Long term

Responsibilities:


• Manage timelines and deliverables within the team to ensure successful project delivery.


• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to design software solutions that meet client requirements.


• Develop scalable and efficient solutions using AWS technologies, such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, and S3.


• Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Mandatory Skills Description:


• Proven experience in Python development in an enterprise environment, covering the entire development lifecycle.


• Excellent communication skills, strong client-facing skills, and ability to manage client expectations.


• Strong technical skills with AWS technologies, including certification in Lambda, SNS, SQS, and S3.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Strong technical skills in Java
  • Capital Markets domain experience
