Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team at Lorven Technologies. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines and deliverables within the team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design software solutions by collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements.
  • Develop solutions that align with client technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Python in an enterprise environment, covering the whole development life cycle.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations.
  • Strong technical skills with AWS technologies, including Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, and certification preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Strong technical skills in Java.
  • Capital Markets domain experience.
