Stores Clerk A

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Clerk A to join their team. This role will assist with the receiving, organization, distribution, replenishment, and tracking of inventories and supplies in support of healthcare throughout the province.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks, and ensuring the work area and dock are clean and organized at all times.
This is a permanent full-time position, 70 hours bi-weekly, with a competitive hourly rate of $21.56 - $23.17. The successful candidate may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
About YouWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 or equivalent, a willingness to participate in ongoing education programs, and working knowledge and proficiency with a variety of computer software and programs.
The successful candidate will also have demonstrated planning, organizational, priority setting skills, and attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Previous experience in a central stores/purchasing environment and knowledge of inventory control are preferred.
HoursThis is a 70-hour bi-weekly position, with a competitive hourly rate of $21.56 - $23.17.
