Job Title: AWS Developer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join our team at Astra North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto, Ontario.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in AWS development and migration, with expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP-based services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Migrate existing applications to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology advancements
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS and Node.js, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency
Develop and implement solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
  • AWS development and migration experience (serverless), Node.js, JavaScript, REST/Soap based services experience
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Development of critical systems at a bank or customer-facing role
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies
  • Desirable Skills: TIBCO BW
