We are seeking a results-driven Retail Operations Manager to join our team at MS Motors Limited. This is a key role that requires the ability to lead and motivate staff, as well as develop and implement effective operational strategies.

The successful candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in retail operations and a strong understanding of market research and trends. They will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, managing staff and assigning duties, and evaluating daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control daily operations to meet sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure effective workflow and meet business objectives
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold based on market research and customer feedback
  • Implement price and credit policies to maximize sales and revenue
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale to ensure high-quality products
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial sustainability
  • Determine staffing requirements to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers to ensure effective team performance
  • Oversee payroll administration and conduct performance reviews to ensure fair compensation and development opportunities
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure efficient and effective support functions

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in retail operations
  • Strong understanding of market research and trends
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
