Parts Inventory Specialist

Cummings Small Engine Service is seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our sales and inventory team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
About the RoleThis permanent opportunity offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work 39-40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Job DescriptionAs a Parts Counter Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts and supplies;
- Issuing and distributing parts and supplies for internal use;
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using inventory control software;
- Processing transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments;
- Providing exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to customer inquiries;
- Selling spare and replacement parts to customers;
- Shipping, delivering, or picking up parts, products, or equipment as needed;
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail;
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory control software;
- Physical stamina to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods;
