We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our strategic facilities planning efforts. As the Director of Strategic Facilities Planning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to support the capital redevelopment of our facilities.
This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. You will work closely with our Executive Director of Planning and Integration/Research Facilities, Facilities, FM-PRO Leadership, and other members of our Senior Management Team to ensure that our goals and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement short- and long-term plans for key project responsibilities across all areas of UHN
- Participate in FM-PRO strategic planning to develop strategies and initiate planning required for the capital program and/or space management
- Consult with Program Executive to direct the planning and prioritization of capital, space, and/or renovation projects
- Review and monitor capital and renovation project planning, verifying alignment by all parties at each stage
- Ensure that all projects are established with a clear scope, schedule, and budget
- Develop and monitor short- and long-term plans that are aligned and integrated with organizational goals
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience in the healthcare sector
- 10 years of related progressive senior leadership experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
