    • Planning and controlling budget and expenditures.
    • Reviewing budgets and financial reports for specific projects.
    • Establishing and implementing policies and procedures.
    • Designing and managing investment strategies.
    • Advising senior management on financial matters.
    • Leading and instructing groups to achieve financial objectives.
    • Providing advice to senior managers and officials.
    • Promoting trade and financial interests on behalf of Canada abroad.
    • Developing strategic plans related to new product lines.
    • Analyzing investment projects.
  • Supervising a team of 5-10 people across various functions.
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in areas such as strategic planning, market analysis, forecasting, consulting, mergers, accounting, risk management, financial planning, internal audit, market research, project management, investor relations, and economic modeling.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.
