Role Summary


The Government of Alberta seeks a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to various operations within the organization. This role will be responsible for managing highly sensitive office correspondence, maintaining records, and ensuring the timely completion of financial documents.


Key Responsibilities



  • Providing administrative support to program teams, including managing records, scheduling calendars, and ordering office supplies.
  • Supporting finance teams to ensure the completion of financial documents and reviewing transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Responding to inquiries from stakeholders and the public, redirecting them to the appropriate government offices and resources.
  • Managing forms and records with highly sensitive information in accordance with FOIP.

Requirements



  • High School diploma plus a minimum of one year of related administrative experience.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
