Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at our mining facility near Wawa, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of blasting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safe work practices, hazard analysis, and standard operating procedures
- Compile blast reports and assist with blast site hazard assessments
- Communicate with the blast crew and ensure all equipment is in good operating condition
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Manage time and payroll
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Drilling, Blasting, Mining, or Mineral Resources
- Project management experience, preferably in open pit mining
- 3+ years of experience in project management or mining
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
