The Financial Reporting Specialist at SRED will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role will also manage tax filings and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, providing insights to management
  • Ensure accurate general ledger reconciliations and maintain a clean and organized accounting system
Qualifications:
  • CPA certification required
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
