Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

QA Consultants is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our clients' software applications.

About the Role

This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work with a global engineering and IT services leader. You will be part of a smart and dedicated team, disrupting quality assurance methodologies and creating something unique. As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be involved in challenging and interesting work, making a difference every day as you help our clients deliver innovation and technology in a better, brighter, and safer way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Dotnet, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, JSON, XML) and API design principles.
