Job Title: Cardiac Technologist
Job Summary:
The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Cardiac Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiac Technologist, you will be responsible for performing cardiac testing procedures, analyzing test results, and providing patient care. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac testing procedures, including ECGs, stress testing, and gas analysis
- Analyze test results and create summarized reports for physicians
- Provide patient care and education
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
- Ensure quality control and maintenance of equipment
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)
- Certification with CSCT, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
