Job Title: Cardiac Technologist
Job Summary:
The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Cardiac Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiac Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various cardiac tests and procedures, including electrocardiograms, stress testing, and gas analysis. You will work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient care and ensure accurate and efficient test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac testing procedures, including ECGs, stress testing, and gas analysis
- Collaborate with physicians to provide patient care and ensure accurate test results
- Collect and document patient information in the electronic patient record
- Analyze test results to create summarized reports for physicians
- Ensure quality control assessments are completed as required
- Manage emergency equipment and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)
- Certification with CSCT, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proven problem-solving and efficiency decision-making skills
