Job Title: Senior Director, Hardware Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Hardware Engineering to lead our hardware engineering team at Miovision Technologies, Inc.

About the Role

The Senior Director, Hardware Engineering will be responsible for leading the development of our next-generation devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet market expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end hardware development processes from concept to production, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee the design, testing, and prototyping of hardware products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and certifications.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performance hardware engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Partner with finance in building budgets for product development and report on attainment.
  • Implement best practices for hardware development, testing, and manufacturing to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, including design, testing, regulatory compliance, and mass production.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
