Job Summary

The Senior Director, Hardware Engineering will lead the development of Miovision's next-generation devices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure high-quality products that meet market expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Execute the long-term hardware strategy aligned with Miovision's vision and goals, collaborating with senior leadership to ensure hardware engineering supports the overall business strategy.
  • Product Development: Lead end-to-end hardware development processes from concept to production, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performance hardware engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and software engineering to ensure seamless integration of hardware, and work with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to ensure scalability and cost-effective production.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor products, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the hardware team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of bringing complex hardware products to market, ideally in the IoT, telecommunications, or smart infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, including design, testing, regulatory compliance, and mass production.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies.
