About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at HK DRYWALL LTD. as a Construction Helper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to meet construction deadlines.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a stable foundation.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a tidy work site.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to prevent equipment damage.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and pressure to meet project requirements.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work in a team environment with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work at heights.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced construction professionals.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week.
