Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Assistant to join our team at MASKEEN CONSTRUCTION LTD. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and transporting materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Construction Assistant will work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
