Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and revision of contract language related to insurance and indemnity for Bombardier Aerospace and its divisions worldwide.
  • Train and develop newly hired personnel in Contract, Supply, and Procurement staff on the integration and application of base contract insurance and indemnity language.
  • Design, negotiate, and manage insurance programs for the Corporation's construction projects, collaborating with insurers and insurance brokers.
  • Identify, quantify, and evaluate the Corporation's material risks, including assets, business interruption, civil liability, and more.
  • Follow renewal processes, timelines, and critical paths with external suppliers.
  • Participate in market submissions, gathering and analyzing underwriting data, and communicating with Groups/Divisions.
  • Review and follow up on renewal program documentation, including binders, policies, and documentation.
  • Premium allocation, collection, and accounting charge back.
  • Perform specific tasks related to designated programs, which may vary depending on the program.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or insurance and risk management.
  • Designation in insurance or risk management, such as CIP, CRM, FRM, or C.A.Ass.
  • Five to eight years of experience in the insurance/risk management industry, preferably in a global organization or insurance company.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and work rigor, with a high concern for excellence and quality of work.
  • Motivated, customer service-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to last-minute requests, respecting deadlines.
  • Diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Team spirit and collaboration.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with Power BI as an asset.
  • Very good communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English.
