About the Role

As an Aircraft Project Manager at Bombardier, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of aircraft projects. With a focus on customer satisfaction and project efficiency, you will be responsible for coordinating daily communications, coordinating, and follow-up with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary point-of-contact for customers, facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure project goals are met.
  2. Perform project management duties for multiple aircraft, identifying potential risks and managing constraints to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  3. Maintain accurate records, including labor charges, reviews, and deliveries of Pro Forma invoices to customers.
  4. Coordinate status meetings with various departments and shops to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery.
  5. Assist in special programs, collaborating with Planning, Invoice Analysts, and Materials teams to drive project success.
  6. Review, approve, and sign final customer invoices as needed, while also reviewing margin analysis, warranty negotiations, and service orders.
  7. Engage in post-project activities, conducting customer follow-up calls to resolve any issues that may arise after delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the aircraft maintenance environment or similar industry.
  • At least 2 years of customer project management experience or 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory governance (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada) and aircraft maintenance inspection programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and other departments.
  • Excellent customer service skills to modify communication, tone, and presentation to effectively address crisis situations and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Planning and organization skills to prioritize workload within a multiple project setting, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, project, email, and web-based applications.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on factors such as location and experience.
