At Top Aces, we are seeking a highly skilled CAPEX Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial analysis team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of capital expenditure spending on projects, communicating corrective measures to stakeholders, and preparing financial analysis and reports on capex spending by project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to simulate various scenarios, evaluate sensitivities, and perform "what-if" analyses.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive business cases for CAPEX projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in the budget and forecast process by reviewing and analyzing each project team's annual capital expenditure project budget and quarterly forecast for projects.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with CAPEX projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and finance professionals to gather necessary information, ensure accuracy of financial data, and align financial analysis with project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Accounting Certification (CPA or CFA) 2-5 years a strong asset.
  • Proven experience (2 years) in financial analysis, inventory analysis, or capital expenditure analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advance Excel, Microsoft tool.
  • Effective communication skills, in English and French both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders across Canada and internationally.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Position requires the ability to obtain a positive security assessment with Controlled Goods Program.
