Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Senior Automation Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing advanced CMOS/CCD image sensor pixels, optimizing existing pixel performance, and collaborating closely with other team members.

About the Role

  • Pixel Design Specialist: Define new pixel architecture, layout design, and corresponding process integration schemes.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize existing pixel performance and manufacturability.
  • Simulation Expertise: Perform process, device, and optoelectronic simulations of advanced CMOS/CCD imager pixels.
  • Experimental Evaluation: Generate and evaluate pixel process and device experimental splits.
  • Collaboration: Participate in internal and external silicon foundry interactions.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers.

Requirements

  • Education: Doctorate (academic) with specialization in semiconductor device physics and hands-on experience of semiconductor fabrication processes and device characterization techniques.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience with 2D/3D TCAD simulations (process/device/optoelectronic simulations using Synopsys, Silvaco) and optical simulations (Ray tracing/FDTD using Lumerical, Zemax).
  • Design of Experiments: Design of Experiments (DOEs) including Taguchi methods, Response Surface Methodology (RSM).

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
