About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare, draft, and revise correspondence and contracts, including notices, demand letters, and court applications.
* Collaborate with court offices and court staff, including the Commercial List and Bankruptcy Court in Toronto.
* Develop and manage complex legal documents, including factums, motions, applications, compendiums, and briefs of authorities.
* Manage accounts and billing procedures, with a strong working proficiency in accounting software.
* Provide exceptional administrative support, including taking instructions, prioritizing tasks, and managing ongoing projects.
* Open and close files, including preparing reporting packages.
* Undertake additional responsibilities as required within the team.

What You Bring:

* A Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma from a recognized college is preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice areas.
* A strong work ethic, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong technical skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite, PDF editing software, and other relevant tools.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks, with a high level of attention to detail.
