About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Coordinator to join our team at IWK Health Centre. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and synchronizing procurement activities across various departments and sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and process efficiencies
  • Coordinate and execute complex procurement processes, including bid documents and contract negotiations
  • Provide procurement quality control and review contract files
  • Lead multiple procurement projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as commerce or business
  • Minimum three years of experience in clinical procurement or five years of procurement experience
  • Experience with procurement processes and systems, including SAP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate with vendors and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects
