About the Opportunity
The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Consultant, Strategic Projects and Initiatives to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for leading the coordination of strategic initiatives and network activities across the province.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare, with experience in planning, coordination, and implementation of programs and services. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of strategic initiatives and network activities
- Work with the broader team to advance the strategic and operational priorities of the portfolio
- Develop and implement programs and services to meet the needs of the province
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline or health science field
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Services Administration preferred
- Eligible for registration with relevant health discipline/college or association preferred
- Minimum three years related leadership experience preferably in a healthcare setting
- Certification or additional training in Quality Improvement, Design Thinking, Project Management and/or Change Management an asset
