We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative technical professional to join our development team at Paymentus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data platforms that meet the needs of our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class enterprise platform supporting thousands of clients and millions of transactions daily. With a focus on SaaS Fintech solutions, you will have the chance to make a significant impact in the industry.

The successful candidate will have experience working with API (REST, SOAP), SSO, Token authentication, and SQL (ORACLE preferred). Payments processing experience is a plus but not necessary. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions for large complex business requirements
  • Work directly with clients to design solutions around application architecture, API, security, and interacting applications
  • Comprehend complex business strategies and requirements and develop necessary designs and plans to ensure projects and solutions satisfy those needs
  • Act as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion
  • Actively listen to client problems and needs to implement that information when creating solution plans
  • Participate in triage activities to identify root cause and recommend corrective measures to resolve the situation
  • Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects
  • Maintain understanding of how individual work and decisions fit into the broader organizational picture
  • Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry
  • Mentor, educate, and train colleagues
