Hydrogen Technician Instructor

Job Summary:
The College of the North Atlantic is seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach in our Hydrogen Technician program. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students, developing and implementing curriculum, and assessing student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instructional materials and assessments to meet course objectives and learning outcomes.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students, including accommodations for students with disabilities.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, including grading and evaluation.
- Participate in curriculum development and revision, including staying current with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program-wide initiatives and projects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program assessments and evaluations.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching and learning skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or education, or a Bachelor's degree with significant industry experience.
- Proven teaching experience in a post-secondary setting, with a focus on hydrogen technology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hydrogen technology and industry developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on student success and program excellence.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus, with occasional travel to industry sites and conferences.
