Job Summary:

The College of the North Atlantic is seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to join our team as a Hydrogen Technician Program Instructor. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students in the Hydrogen Technician program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials to support the delivery of the Hydrogen Technician program.
  • Provide expert instruction and guidance to students in both classroom and shop settings, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student success.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in the field of chemical process operations, and incorporate this knowledge into your teaching and training.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and training programs that meet the needs of industry and students.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance your teaching and training skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the chemical process operations industry, with a strong background in teaching and training.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to student success and industry partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Experience in hydrogen production and processing.
  • Professional certification or designation in a relevant field.
