Job Description:

Job Title: Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the hospital and its surroundings to prevent and detect any security breaches.
  • Incident Response: Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incidents, security breaches, and other relevant events, submitting reports as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other security personnel, hospital staff, and management to ensure a seamless and effective security operation.

Requirements:

  • Security License: Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Language Skills: Be proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • Education and Certifications: Hold a degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services (an asset). Possess valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification, as well as certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
  • Health and Safety: Meet the health and safety requirements of the position, including proof of double Covid Vaccination and Immunization Record.
