About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Cefa Early Learning Richmond. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and growth of young children.

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-12 years and a passion for early childhood education. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment that promotes learning and exploration.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and education for all children.

You will be responsible for assessing children's development and creating individualized learning plans to meet their unique needs. Additionally, you will engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, while also maintaining a clean and organized daycare environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a College diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-12 years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A valid First Aid and CPR certification.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care plan, dental plan, and vision plan.
