About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sanitary Maintenance Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Fine Art Montessori Childcare Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners by maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the center.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Empty, clean, and dispose of trash regularly.
  • Clean washrooms, mirrors, and sinks to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
  • Make up beds and change linens as needed.
  • Tidy up rooms and maintain a clutter-free environment.
  • Wash windows as scheduled to ensure natural light reaches all areas.
  • Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry, and sort, fold, and put away clean laundry.
  • Operate mechanized cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
  • Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
  • Wash dishes and clean the kitchen according to agreed-upon hygiene standards.
  • Prepare snacks and assist with kitchen cooking duties.
  • Restock room supplies to prevent shortages.
  • Check all appliances in rooms to ensure they are in working order.
  • Assist with decoration duties to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Requirements
  • Physical stamina and mobility to perform various cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull required loads (usually around 30lbs).
  • Attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Customer focus to provide excellent service to staff and children.
  • Reliability to adhere to schedules and protocols.
  • Listening skills to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and situations.
