Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director, Digital Health to join our team at Spectrum Health Care Inc. in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage large and complex multi-stakeholder projects in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Direct daily project activities, effectively communicate project expectations, and coordinate the work of project team members to meet or exceed needs and expectations.
  • Develop, track, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and manage changes to project scope and develop contingency plans as required.
  • Support the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums to solicit feedback, input, and expectations, and incorporate recommendations into project plans.
  • Champion a co-design approach to ensure the voices of clients, families, frontline staff, and partners drive projects from conception to completion.
  • Provide regular updates to the leadership and other stakeholders through project reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of project management experience in healthcare.
  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Health Care/Informatics, or Business Administration.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Conversant in various tools for project management, project planning, and time tracking, e.g., Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, WBS Pro, and Eclipse.
  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead, plan, implement, and manage projects and initiatives in a healthcare setting.
