About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team at Local Pest Control. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing effective pest control solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Assess: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation.
  • Provide Estimates: Offer accurate estimates of costs for treatment and prevention services.
  • Treatment and Prevention: Determine the type of treatment required and prepare and spray chemical mixtures on infested areas.
  • Animal Control: Place and set traps to capture and remove animals, and install animal control barriers to keep animals off property.
  • Cleanliness and Advice: Clean out areas that harbour pests and advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence.
  • Transportation: Possess a valid driver's licence and have access to a vehicle supplied by the employer.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically demanding and able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
