About the Role

Local Pest Control is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for providing effective pest control solutions to residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Identify Pest Infestations: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of pest infestations.
  • Provide Estimates and Recommendations: Offer clients detailed estimates of costs and recommend the most effective treatment options.
  • Treatment and Prevention: Prepare and apply chemical mixtures to infested areas, fumigate households, and install animal control barriers to prevent future infestations.
  • Client Education and Support: Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestations and provide guidance on maintaining a pest-free environment.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of treatments, inspections, and client interactions.
Requirements
  • Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence: Possess a valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Pest Control: Previous experience in pest control or a related field is an asset.
