Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Our Place Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
