Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Our Place Restaurant. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Assist with loading and unloading dishes, glassware, and flatware from dishwashers and storage areas.
  • Help with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
