Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Our Place Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are washed and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and marinating meats
  • Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with serving and clearing tables
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
