Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mahi Cornwall Inc. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to our staff, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge and to achieve their full potential.
  • Estimate and Order Supplies: Estimate the quantities of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and place orders accordingly.
  • Manage Budget and Reports: Prepare and manage the budget for our food service operations, ensuring that we are operating within our means and that our financial performance is optimized.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards of quality and safety, and that our staff are aware of and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
