We are seeking an exceptional Corporate Communications Advisor to join our dedicated team in the Economic Development & Strategy Department.

Under the direction of the Manager, Economic Development & Strategy, this key role involves overseeing the implementation of the City's communications programs, ensuring effective communication objectives are met. This includes collaborating with all departments to provide expert support and advice on external communication goals, processes, and customer service excellence.

This position requires a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, accompanied by at least three years of experience in a government or corporate environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in strategic communications planning, public relations, and media relations, along with excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage projects under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, is essential.

Our comprehensive benefits package includes a starting salary of $93,827, monthly housing allowance, vacation travel allowance, and a defined benefits pension plan.
