We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at the Canadian Armed Forces. As a Human Resources Administrator, you will provide administrative and general human resources support to all military activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide human resource administration and services to support the Canadian Armed Forces
- Administer pay and allowances for military personnel
- Manage automated pay systems and information management systems
- Maintain personnel records and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
- Be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent)
- Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondaire IV in Quebec
As a Human Resources Administrator, you will be employed at various Canadian Armed Forces bases across Canada, on ships, and overseas in support of military operations. You may also serve in special operation units, medical organizations, recruiting offices, schools, reserve units, and other specialized units.
Training and DevelopmentYou will attend the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre in Borden, Ontario, for 90 days of training. This training will cover topics such as processing correspondence, creating unit personnel files, and administering pay and allowances.
Specialty TrainingAs a Human Resources Administrator, you may be offered the opportunity to develop specialized skills through formal courses and on-the-job training for topics like recruiting administration, release administration, deployed operations, and compliance and verification.
Advanced TrainingAs you progress in your career, you may be offered advanced training in policy, compensation and benefits analysis, civilian personnel management, and military personnel management.
