Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team at OPDI. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Advertise vacancies and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform safety and security checks and supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in building maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Dependability, initiative, and good judgement
  • Organized and able to work with minimal supervision
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work setting is in a rural area and the work language is English.
