Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc. 1991. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Advertise vacancies and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct safety and security checks and supervise other workers.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Dependability, initiative, and good judgement.
  • Organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
