Description:As a Mental Health Consultant, you will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing assessment and treatment recommendations to professional caregivers and family physicians regarding the management and treatment of individuals with complex mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide education and support to professional caregivers and family members
- Consult and liaise with other professionals along a continuum of care to facilitate a coordinated network of mental health services
- Assess and treat individuals with complex mental health disorders
- Completion of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
- Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory college
- Working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team
- Connect care training is an asset
